Puppy Training Classes in Burnaby
PUPPY kindergarten & TEEN classes
We now offer puppy classes taught by a certified trainer to ensure that you and your puppy have all the skills you need to get off to a great start to your life together! Training is done at our Puptown Girls location- 3999 2nd Avenue, Burnaby!
CLASSES ARE NOT IN SESSION CURRENTLY. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES ON THE NEXT CLASS!
- 6 Sessions
- For puppies up to 5 months old and a class for puppies 6-9 months old
- $225 plus GST

COVID Procedures are in place for classes:
- Masks are mandatory during class and inside our facility
- 1 person training with dog per session
- Social distancing will be required
- We will have all exterior doors and windows open for ventilation
- Maximum of 6 participants per class in order to facilitate social distancing
WHAT WILL PUPPY LEARN?
Our trainer, Toni, believes that the best way to train puppies is through learning with fun and games and always rewarding them. Toni is a highly experienced trainer, dog owner and, most importantly, dog lover. She is licensed, bonded, insured, and pet first-aid certified. Her mission is to provide the best quality dog care to our clients with kindness, integrity, and respect.
Over these six weeks, your puppy will learn:
- Recall and bite inhibition
- Basic commands (sit, stay, come, down)
- Basic manners- no jumping up ect.
- Properly greeting guests at the door
- Behaving around strangers
- Leash work and clicker training
- "Leave it" and "Wait"
- Plenty of fun learning games to continue at home
Spaces are limited so early registration is recommended!
REQUIRED VACCINES
Distemper and Parvovirus 1st set, administered at least 24 hours before the first class. (Bordetella vaccine recommended if you are concerned about kennel cough).
